spawnofchaos A blend of variable styles and quality, however there is a lot here to enjoy. Favorite track: Forgotten Minds.

Richard Neary Lovely album. Black Metal, Folk, Industrial sounds with a mix of growls and clean vocals. Great riffs and haunting melodies. All of the parts blend together in an unobtrusive way. Favorite track: Cast into the Shade.

Metallurgical Fire All of these projects have impressive guitar work, while the other ingredients vary a bit in quality. Lord Trowe is a very solid musician, though, and the clean vocals on the album fit and are quite good; a pleasant surprise on a heavy record like this. Cast Into the Shade, Forgotten Minds and D&S are standouts. Favorite track: D&S.

A moment allows let me to redraw these memories Which return in my memory Striking this sadness In each of my veins and bloody tears falling like a heavy rain storm which faces these flames of hate ready to make free my soul of that body So sad, so dark to keep that speck of light .... (x2) Cast into the shade My soul is torn to wrong filled into the hate My soul will go to down.... (x2) (x2) Tonight at the full moon I shall not feel any more the time These memories end my days These memories end my life... (x2) this destiny made me remember Inside of my tears falling like a heavy rain storm which faces these flames of hate this distant wandering of past stabbing my heart Burning my eyes this distant wandering of past stabbing my heart Burning my mind Cast into the shade My soul is torn to wrong filled into the hate My soul will go to down....

This brutal world does not know harmony This brutal world himself made these sorrows We drink and smoke to lose his head To forget all these painful memories We drink and smoke to lose his head To avenge all those forgotten minds We crush fear of all those idiots To make them remember all evil they are We will destroy their fucking lives To avenge all those forgotten minds To avenge all those forgotten minds !!!! This brutal world does not know harmony This brutal world gave them all these sorrows They must be cursed forever!

about

Lord Trowe of HDR Project 'The Foetal Mind' returns with a new project and new material! Deprived of Light is a collaboration between Lord Trowe - The Foetal Mind, and Psychotic - Phychocalypse. Together they form a post-rock influenced metal album with strong melodic guitar work, and hints of black and doom metal. This is not an easy album to catergorize, especially considering the three different projects that the songs belong to, but if you were a fan of the latest The Foetal Mind album 'The Grand Contraction' released on physical medium through HDR in December 2010, and would like to hear more of Lord Trowe's work, then you can't go wrong by downloading this album!
